<a href=fav.me/d5idz24> Facing My Inner Demon 11/22
~~~~~~~~Completed This Month~~~~~~
This hiatus of laziness and blah has been interrupted to bring you an important announcement from squee, the number two word of excitement and glee.
Alright, so, I was checking my DeviantART messages (something I'd been slacking on due to being in a bit of a funk) and I noticed a rare sight: I had a note. I clicked the note, wondering what was going on since the only time I really get notes is when I note someone first and I hadn't noted anyone in a while. The note was from which is a group I'm a part of.
My first thought was "omg I suck so bad they're kicking me out of the group!!!" because I knew I was ACTIVE in the group and my self-esteem is obviously non-existent. :3 XD
So I open up the note and see that it's talking about the feature journal that the group does each month. Now I'm confused, since they'd never noted me to remind me of the journal before. Now I'm curious to see if something is different and go check it out fav.me/d5jtsb5.
So I go down the page, looking it all over, la de la de-OMG!!! About row 26, I see and flip the fudge out. I got FEATURED!!!!! My brother and his dad start giving me odd looks as I squee around the room, giggling and cheering things like "I DON'T SUCK!!! 8D THEY DON'T THINK I SUCK!", and hugging my cat. XD
Then, today, requested my latest art piece in their gallery. Ladies and gentlemen, your Zaggit is out of her funk and ready to get back to work. :'3 XD
Thanks to both groups for the luff and the much needed ego boost. XD I luff them both for it.
Type: Digital Artist
Details: Looking back, I should have featured FeralFlapJack quite a while back. For one, I've known her for years as an AMAZING artist. She wasn't an amazing artist when I first met her, but over the years I've watched her artwork absolutely BLOSSUM to the point that her talent cannot be touched. She's a true story about how practice, critique, and a few good teachers can turn a beginning artist into a professional artist doing commissions for more money than my entire gallery is worth.
You should go check her out RIGHT NOW before she gets so good at art her work becomes blinding. :3
